Hearth came about as a vehicle for documenting the passion of people who have a vision to change the world. Scientific advancements, technological innovation, plights to solve problems and help others - at their core, these are stories of curiosity and compassion, these are human stories with a beating heart. If you look around, they are everywhere, and they are what make the world a beautiful and vibrant place…

About Me
I’m Izzy Haines, an artist and filmmaker from Bristol.
As a film-enthusiast, I’ve found myself in countless creative roles behind the scenes and in front of the camera for over a decade. Subsequently, a company with multi-media capability was born. I’ve had training and professional experience in the fields of screenwriting, acting, special effects hair & makeup, illustration and animation (to name a few), and in recent years I’ve been working as a freelance solo production house for science & tech companies, Universities and multi-million pound programmes.
Working as a freelancer with science and tech startups for the past 3 years has shown me the potential of human stories to connect and inspire, and ultimately push towards a better world. There are people devoting themselves to solving the world's problems and helping nature and humanity thrive - I believe these are the people the world should see and celebrate, not just for what they are doing, but who they are.
I dreamed of Hearth as a space to hold the magic of people’s lives in a warm spotlight, offer tools for their promotional needs and creative visions, and to foster a loving platform for artists and filmmakers (including myself) to share their art.
