What You Can Expect:
Pre-production
An initial pre-production phase lays out the creative vision of a project, as well as establishing required resources, locations, participants and time-frames. Scripting, shot-lists, and storyboarding provide a helpful structure for filming, and allow for an overview of the final result.
I’ll ask you what you want to communicate, how it should look and feel, target audience demographics and what impact is desired for the video to have. What’s the story? How should we tell it and why should we tell it?
Filming
Once a plan for a video has been decided, Hearth will get to work on production, arranging suitable shoot days with participants, organising recourses and supplying and operating filming & audio equipment. This may include interviews, in-situ coverage of events, candid footage or scripted scenes.
On set or in the field, Hearth strives to create a comfortable and fun environment for all.
Post-production
Hearth’s post-production process is intensive and expansive. In the edit suite, a whole new world of creative possibility opens up, and Hearth seizes every opportunity for polish and personalisation.
All aspects of post-production are offered in-house by Hearth: sequencing, grading, sound design, original music composition, logos and graphics, captions, hand-drawn animations, VFX, and more…
